duty should be the duty on the injectors. How much percent they are spraying at. If you're boosting alot and steppin in the gas alot there will be high duty (100% floored), if you're crusing duty is low. If you stop duty is idle at 0

The duty you are talking about on the avc-r is the duty cycle on the boost control solenoid. It is basically a percentage of closed / total time for the solenoid. Set it so you reach your target boost, but don't shoot past it. There are many other complex options on the avc-r - check the archives or the yahoo groups avc-r forum

to set duty set the boost to what you want...

have the duty start from low to high..

Once you have set the duty to the point where you hit you're boost quickly but DO NOT over shoot then you've found the spot..

To help get the spool up quicker (this will make the boost controller spike)

Set the start duty to 35-50 in first gear
2nd gear 20-40
3rd -5-10
4th -10-5
5th -10-5

I believe the best settings I had on my car was

50 in first
4x in second
5 in 3rd
-2 in 4th
-5 in 5th

If you hit fule cut in 2nd gear form fast shifts set the start duty to 0 or even negative.... This will make you're 1/4 mile much faster by not hitting FCO all the time. but for the fun of having crazy torque set the start duty back up

You'll feel the diffrence right away how fast boost comes on by setting you're avc-r up this way... ask me how I know
