These aren't real world #'s either, some of these #'s are ran w/ Pro riders, and some are just the journalist's #'s. They've got the Hayabusa clocked at 9.97 and the 04 R1 clocked at 9.93 :wtflol: I'm sorry but a pro rider on an R1 couldn't beat an average guy on a busa in the real world.

The Hayabusa is fast no doubt, but it will only shine up top compared to the new R1. The gixxer 1000 and the Hayabussa have always been close as well. A pro-rider on an R1 against a normal guy on a Busa? R1 wins with ease

The hp to weight ratio may be better on the 1000cc bike than the busa, but at a dragstrip you have to keep the front end down, a stock busa is easy to keep both tires on the ground due to wheelbase. And the busa's torque is unmatched, that's something they don't talk about in the magazines. Trust me, I've ridden them all...

gotcha, makes sense. So perfect riders the 1000 will win, not so perfeect rtiders the busa? (1/4 mile)
