I need some help with my backfire.

I have a '94 automatic BPU+ car.

It backfires when the tranny shifts from 1st to 2nd at redline. This all started when I installed my downpipe. It seems to be less pronounced when I have the silencer installed on my exhaust.

What can I do to get rid of the backfire?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam

why you want to get rid of it? Just the car is running "rich".

Fuel piggy back systems like the HKS Super AFR actually can compensate for this problem, or you can run both the stock BOV and the aftermarket BOV.
