I'm running a JDM 2jz-gte in my nissan 240sx. Using a MAP2 ECU but the stock IAT sensor on the IM. Car was running good with AFR's in the high 10's low 11's under WOT full boost. Then all of a sudden AFR's jumped to mid 13's and I let off.
ECU threw a CEL 24(bad IAT sensor or connection). WOuld that cause the AFR readings to run so lean? I'm gonna run the Map2 ecu IAT sensor from now on, threaded in my intake pipe near the FMIC. So would a heat soaked IAT cause this lean condition? Anyone?
