What type of batteries are you guys using?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the terminals on the optima are on the wrong sides.. arent they? So what other options are there?

Looking for something that can handle a couple 10 inch subwoofers without losing a lot of voltage at idle.

Just get one at wallmart ,$60 5yr warr free 3 yr replacement , They are all mostly the same. Unless you are looking at relocating it to the back or reducing overall wieght of your car, it doesn't make a diffrence

I got a Walmart brand battery and it works great. They have basically two kind: one that has a high cranking power and one that has a deep cycle. You probably want a deep cycle for stereos.

Just the other day I left the interior lights of the car on. I cranked up the engine tomorrow and it started no problem. With the battery I had before (I think Interstate?) if I left the light on for a couple hours, the car would have problems starting.

I think the battery I have now is like 875 cranking amps, and 1000 cold cranking amps.
