yo i been building this car all winter and finally got it together. it came in a box and its finally together will post pics asap and i mean that so please help. i go to hook up the battery and it shoots hella sparks. i believe the starter is hooked up right. big cable to top of starter near the knock sensor, little brown wire plugged in, and the wire that comes off the starter and loops hooks right next to the lil brown wire on bottom of starter right? my next question is does the wire that comes from under the fuseblock hook to the pos. or neg. side? i know this is a stupid question but i cant find answers anywhere because everyone who has a supra knows but this is my first supra and it came in a tote scattered about. any input greatly appreciated peace.

It sounds more like a short
there are two positive cable coming off the wire loom for the starter.
One is for the starter and the other is for the positive terminal. Usually the one for the positive terminal comes out of the loom near the fuse panel/ front knock sensor area.
make sure that is connected correctly.
make sure you have the right cable on the starter. Some people put the wrong cable and Positive to ground.
All grounds must be attached...this is a must with these cars

On a serious note, check to see that you didnt cross the cables on the starter/alternator.
