bcc on a single question??????

i was told by a friend when i you go single and add fuel
i will no longer need a bcc or fcd

to add i will be putting in vpc and s-afc

can anyone who has gone single shed some light on this!

i have not gone single but i would believe that it is because when you go single you have to reprogram the ecu anyway due to only 1 turbo now and i think when they do that boost cut is taken off as well. I am by no means positive that is just what i thought.
I have a single and I have a bcc. you still have a TPS that tells the ECU to put that traction plate down. So the answer is yes you still need a bcc. Unless you have a Gforce that raises the boost cut for you.

You don't have to reprogram the ECU.
