I am tired of my battery going dead after a week of sitting in the garage during typical MD "winters" (20 deg F or so at night, 40 deg F day)

I believe the Optima Orange top is the one mentioned sometime ago as the proper choice for Supras. Is this battery any good? Will it keep a decent charge for a couple of weeks without going dead? Does anyone recommend anything else? Thanks

I do not have anything other than the stock stereo in it, BTW

If you don't want a ton of money, go with Autozone's battery....Duralast. The size for the Supra was very highly rated in Consumer Reports. If you don't mind spending more money, of course go with the Optima.

"Only a week? I think you've got other issues with current drain..."

what are potential causes for current drain, other than the obvious like leaving lights on etc. As far as I know the only thing drawing any current is the factory alarm but that cannot be more than microamps.
