There are not any differences for MKIV of any year's turbo version.

and depend on you, if u like louder, go with HKS and Tanabe, but any kind of aftermaket exhaust will done the job.

i currently had Apexi N1, i like it, because its muffler is smaller, my friends' greddy or HKS, it's too low to easy to get hit on the exhaust when back-up the car. N1 looks clean and simple. and less expensive than others.

and it sounds lound for me after i did TTC on bpu, and it will be lounder more than enough for me after the single turbo i think.

so, it's really up to you, if u wanna lounder one on stock or bpu stages, go for those HKS Super Drager and Tanabe Racing Medalion! and looks nicer!

but any of those aftermarket one will become louder after the TTC on Bpu or single turbo conversion.

Ming is correct. All the years are the same. My old cat-back was the Greddy Sp, it sounded clean and very quiet even after TTC at idle and wot. Now I have a thermal r&d. This exhaust is very quiet at idle but it screams at wot. Depends what you want i guess. All have similar power output.

Chris
I would go with the HKS Super Dragger or the Greddy Power Extreme. These exhausts will give the most power w/ out being insanely loud. The PE is a little quieter than the Super Dragger.
i have the Blitz NUR Spec Exhaust for 1993-98 Supra Cat Back Stainless Steel sound great but becomes rather loud after a while so unless you like noise dont get this one i likethe sound of the Greddy Power Extreme not extramly loud and not quiet ..just perfect im thinking about getting this one myself!

Tanabe G-Power

All the way babie. Too bad it's not made anymore. Looks kind of like the stock. Really nice when your bite is worse than you bark :D and with a car like the Supra, you're going to be noticed anyway.....
G
Tanabe makes a hyper medallion that replaces the gpower.
I'm a big fan of the Apex-i N1. It is angled at the end so the exhaust is almost a straight shop from cat back. There are no crazy turns in the pipling like the greddy exhuast. With 1 being the sound level of the stock exhaust and 10 being the loudest the N1 is a 7. You can't beat the price for the N1. It is the best bang for the buck. If I had the money I would go with the HKS Titanium.

If you want loud, DO with the HKS TI. Sounds sood good with cams and a single. It is loud enought to put my Trans Am with Longtube headers and open Borla to Shame.

What do you guys think of the APEXi Dunk... also dont the Dunk, N1, and the Blitz NUR Spec come with a silencer???

Thanks
G
Thanks for replying everyone. I'm new and I want something thats going to give me the best all around power. Sound is not a problem. I think I'm going with the HKS titanium. Anyone knows a good price for one? One guy quoted me for 730 but I don't think he quoted me for the right exhaust. But he says it's the titanium exhaust from HKS. But I think it was for the hyper. Thanks!!
G
Yeah, that is not right. I spent $1,100 on mine, so that is about average but it is SS and TI. Straight shot and sounds bad all too.

what do you guys think....

N1 vs. Dunk vs. GT Spec

Which is better performance for BPU? How loud is each? Does the silencer make that much difference???
GO WITH THE HKS TITANIUM!!! I just put mine in and it sounds awsome. Its not loud in the car, but from outside it has a nice low rumble. I can't wait to hear it once my DP goes in. The fit on it is also awsome. It sits RIGHT under my car but doesn't rub and has a decent amouint of ground clearance. If you have the $1100 to blow, go with the best.

TRD exhaust

i would go with TRD exhaust, polish finished and unique

The Apex-i GT Spec in my opinion is the best bang for the buck. If money isn't really a factor the HKS Hiper Titanium Race Exhaust is the best (at suprastore.com)
I just installed an Apexi N-1 on my car and I am very pleased with it. Very straight exhaust system with a large ass diameter to it. The price was only about $540 bucks which is hard to beat. It fits up nice and snug under the car. I have heard several people complain about "draggin" their HKS dragger on speed bumps and such. I do not run a silencer and you don't need to. It is just about the right amount of loudness to keep you entertained but does not roar, rumble, or drone inside the car to drive you crazy. Sounds great on WOT.

MY CHOICE IS THE TRD GEN 2 EXHAUST SYSTEM.
PART # 00602-17400-016 LIST $799.95 TRADE $685.00
IT'S ALL STAINLESS STEEL,3.5 IN DIA PIPES,TRD LAZER ETCHED LOGO ON MASSSIVE CHROME TIP,POLISHED MIRROR FINISH MUFFLER BODY.IT ADDS 35 RWHP WITHOUT A DP.IT'S A STRAIGHT THROUGH DESIGN HARDLY ANY BENDS IN THE PIPE FROM THE DP/CAT BACK.WHEN YOU LOOK THRU THE TAIL PIPE TOWARDS THE FRONT YOU CAN SEE THE OPPOSITE END,A TOTAL FREE FLOW DESIGN.NO CLEARANCE PROBLEMS,EVEN WITH A 1.5 DROP ON SPRINGS.IT ALSO USES THE FACTORY HANGERS AND CAN BE INSTALLED IN 20MIN.AWSOME SOUND AT ILDE AND AT WOT.
