My boost logic balancer showed up today and I hope to get it installed when I get the HK$ 272's dropped in sometime this week. I can get the bolt out of the stock pulley with no problem with the starter and my breaker bar, but tourqing (sp) the new bolt back on the crank with the motor in the car and the trans still attached has sort of got me a lil stumped.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bob

i'd use a chain wrench and a breaker bar. i woudln't worry about torque too much, just make it tight.

Get the special tool from Toyota or you can put in the 2 M8 bolts, drill 3 holes in a metal sheet that is about 2 feet longput the bolts through(or drill bits haha) and tighten it. It should hold.

I torqued mine at 110 ft/lb once and it was soo loose when I took it off. Then, the second time, I tightened it to about 240 ft/lb. I tried looseing it right after and it was pretty damn tight!

:). Do it once, do it right.
