I have an opportunity to get some CNC'd valve covers milled/polished. I am trying to see if anyone would be interested. I can get logos etched into the top/front/sides of them as well. Or they can be anodized if that is what anyone is looking for. price should range from $150-$200. Just measuring interest right now. i will have pics up soon, i am getting a set done now.

you must have some good connections, CNC work is usually much more expensive.

*adds it to list of things to make at school*

Damn...

don't forget to replicate the pattern on the underside of the factory valve covers, it helps lubricate the cams and valves, also acts as an air separator for the PCV
"I'm in", if this is the price and if they work on the inside like stock.

Everything will work just like stock. they are going to be replicates for function. they will be completely milled from blocks of billet aluminum. I will keep info posted.
I have no idea how your gonna do that. I operate a CNC boring mill for a living and the time its gonna take to do the covers and the cost of the aluminum blocks, its impossible. The 200 wont cover much labor after the cost of the alum stock. The guy doing it aint gonna b makin any money at all at that price. I bet theres gonna be atleast 6-8 hours just to rough them out let alone finish them. Sorry to burst any bubbles but if your getting them for 200 a pair somin aint right. :(

I don't get charged for labor. The only thing that i will be charged for is the aluminum and anodizing. Anodizing would be a option as would getting any logos put into the covers.
So your telling me you have someone that will tie up a $250-500k cnc machine for prob 10-12hours a set, and not charge any labor when he could be making 80-200 an hour on it. hmmm man must be nice to live in that world.
