What "gasket" did you blow? The only sealing device in a turbo are piston rings at each wheel. Similar to a piston ring in your engine these are not positive seals...meaning...they will leak if there is a significant pressure accross them. So, what is happening that makes you suspect a seal is gone? Oil in the exhaust? You might try checking the oil drain from the turbo to the engine. Make sure it is clear. If you are getting a lot of oil from the compressor out please check the air filter. Make sure it is clean (and large enough).
Maybe you are talking about the turbine inlet flange gasket? If this is the case the only result is an exhaust leak. You may experience a slight loss in response. If this is the case you should change it. It is very easy on our cars.
