hey guys i dont have a supra well i do but i still have to finish paying for it ne ways i have a 89 probe gt which is turboed nd i was racing a guy but it boosted fine all the way threw 4th but when i shifted to 5th it started to boost but stoped and alot of smoke was comming out of the back is the turbo blown or what im thinking its the seals let me know

Does the car drive OK not under boost?
Does the compressor still spin?
Is there visible damage to the vanes of the compressor wheel?
What color was the smoke?
Is the car throwing codes?

i couldnt tell the color of the smoke it was night time ummm it ran fine b4 that but after it did that it started popping really bad and sounded like a tractor lol idk i havent been able to check the compressor but after it stoped popping it was fine idk what is up with it i cant wait till i get the supra

Could be something as simple as a blown off an IC pipe...

ooo but if it was a I C pipe wouldnt it do it in every gear tho i mean it only did it it fifth it seemed to be boosting fine in the other gears but i will have more info on the color smoke and if it is still doing it by monday thatwhen my new tires come in cuz myine are shot nd bout to go
