Wouldn't the proper offset wheels take care of that, even if it would take away some of the lip?
Possibly, but I think it might actually be the design of the wheel and how far in it mounts. It looks like it would hit the spokes more than anything else. Could be wrong, I don't know much about Kinesis wheels and their available configurations for an E46.

And some guys that i know who go this far in modding a car are stubborn about the exact wheel design and amount of lip etc. they want and will tweak to get it. Just my guess

I think his username is ///ACS-3, but he is a member on m3forum. Absolutely beautiful M3 and one of the best examples of a modded one. He is well known over there for taking some amazing pics.

I like everything but the slammed/huge rims with no tire/deep dish look.
LOL We are so much alike.

To me, there is a such thing as "too low" with lowering a car, and "too thin" when it comes to sidewall. It's just not aesthetically pleasing if it's ALL rim filling in the wheel gap. I like some sidewall...looks..normal. And same with camber, although it has its performance benefits...

Otherwise- Sweet BMW. LOooooooove the M3's

Well, it's all about looks.

Tiny sidewalls and slammed suspension will not help anyone on a road course. :nono:
