Been doing some looking around, and future planning. High on my list has been a good EBC, and also a wideband, for safety and monitoring.
Most of the electronic boost controllers I see out there are in the $300 range. Widebands run near $200.

Then I saw this unit, actually posted on a MKIV build thread here, and thought, THAT'S IT!

Innovate Motorsports (3882 SCG-1 Solenoid Boost Controller and Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge Kit, White, 52mm, Black

Boost controller and wideband all in one for $330? Seems like the way to go... did some reading around and a number of folks have been running them happily. While they aren't quite as sophisticated as the "set to 12 psi and let controller do the work", they do seem to check all the boxes a guy might want checked for a piece like this. Plus it provides options to do some data logging if you want it.

What do you guys think?

Considering I paid $150 for a used Profec B about a decade ago I’d say $330 for a wideband/boost controller combo is pretty good.

Didn’t know about this one so now it’s on my short term upgrade list.
