How high can i turn up my manual boost gauge(psi) safely without a fmic. Or should I just invest in a new radiator with an electric fan instead of installing a fmic. Any suggestions will be welcome.

The two parts of your question have nothing to do with each other. You can turn up the boost (not the gauge, the gauge will read more as a result) to 20psi if you want on the stock SMIC. Installing a new radiator will do nothing for you unless your radiator now is broken. You said instead of a FMIC, the two have absolutely no correlation unless you have a FMIC and are overheating due to the lack of cooling power of your radiator.

Forget about a new radiator or electric fans. Save your money, buy a downpipe, BCC, and a manual boost controller for what you would spend on a new radiator and electric fans. Hope this helps.
