is it necessary to upgrade the bypass/bov on a 93 bpu supra? if so which ones do you guys recommend going with? thanks.

ive had great success with tial bov's. i think when you upgrade to a fmic you should consider a bov as well.

absolutly not, there is no effing point, just wasted money to rig something up on the stock stuff, OEM DENSO unit works FINE!!

The stocker is good for BPU....unless it is old & leaky, then replace it.

How much psi can the stock bypass valves hold? Will it hold a small single?

From that point on I would rather go aftermarket, speak: bigger. I wouldn´t be worried about the PSIs but the airflow. Boost will not be much higher than with the twins on, maybe even lower...
But if you look to the channels of the OEM valve you´ll see how small they actually are..
