6097's

My 3330's idled like shit
You'll get mixed responses between those two plugs. You might want to do a search, there are some good threads about this. I personally use the 3330's. I've been happy with them so far, the idle has been fine (a problem that some people experience with this plug)
find the FAQ about plugs on mkiv.com, it tells why 6097 are the correct plug

Are your years and #'s mixed up on your sig?

how is the 92 # 2212
and the 93 #1716

Just Curious
I've run both on my single w/fuel and the car has run better with the 3330's.

I have tried the NGK 6097 and the 3330's from .026-.039 gap. I had missing problems about 2 years ago until I finally changed out my coil packs. Now I run standard copper
AC-DELCO FR2LS Plugs @1.69 each with a .042-.044 stock gap. I haven’t had any problems since. Im now running a SC61 GT turbo and just dynode 520 rwhp on 91 octane. I ran 11.1 in Vegas 2003 with race fuel at 21psi. I also have a 7800 rev limiter. Try them, its only like $12 for a set.

i second that my denso ik22 are the shit .i never need to constantly check them or clean em or gap em. just my opinion..
If you look at the NGK chart, the two plugs are identical except the V-groove tip. I would say they are about the same but I have had better luck with the 6097's. Tim(basupra) also like the 6097's better. The V-groove allows for two "fire" points instead of one.

There is a whole write up why not use 3330. 3330 are for hondas.

No my number's are correct. In 1992 2,500 typhoon's were made. In 1993 2,200 were made.
I am bpu +++ and run Denso iridiums. No problems at all with them. Expensive little suckers though!
NINE8SIX... Which Densos are you running? IK22s? What gap?

Brandon
The Denso iridiums are by far the best. Between the 6097 and the 3330, I would choose the 6097. But if you want a plug that is made better and will last you A LOT longer than either the 3330 or the 6097, the Denso iridium is the absolute best way to go.

Joe
HKS Super Fire Racing plugs all the way !!! J/k;) :D Definitely the 6097's.
