What 60' were they cutting on the stock stall? I've almost come to the conclusion that w/out spray, you can't do better than a 2.0.
I think Mike ran a high 1.9X, but I agree that is very unusual on a stock stall, most folks are doing well to get 2.0X 60' times.

ive ran an 11.9 on the stock stall with a 60' of 2.02. this was on 18' rims with nitto 555 street tires.

ive also ran an 11.9 with a 60' of 1.98 on 19' rims with falken street tires. for this run i had my 3600 stall in but didnt stall it up because of the previous runs trying to stall it up on these 19' street tires. didnt work so good. lets just say i sat at the line spinning the tires for about 3 or 4 seconds.

Yea, I made about 10 passes at Bristol w/ 315 BFGs and the best I could come up w/ was a 2.0x. You don't think the 315s were actually too much do you? I wouldn't directly spin off the line, but as soon as boost hit, I would still break loose somewhat no matter what I did, heating them up and all.

My 11 Sec. Setup:

I went as quick as 11.51 @118 @ TX2K3. I won the stock class in the process. I was full BPU w/ every + except cams. I had 275 BFG's DR's mounted on stock rims. I went from mid-low 12's to mid 11's with a BL Tranny upgrade and 4K stall.:D If I were to lock up the TC I would most certainly go deep into the 11's. Too bad, I'll never get to try as the DAWG is getting a 74mm single turbo installed by mid November!!:p

Just ran this a.m. 35 degrees. Slight tail. Perfect atmospheric conditions (everyone at track was putting down best times).

I have a 6spd 93.5 hardtop (cloth interior). Only mods - HKS-SMF (pulled filter); RMM downpipe; HKS SuperDrager; bleeder t (with hose pulled) and AZ clutch. I pulled everything out of car (pass. seat, spare, sub, etc.). Euro hood scoop with ducting. Pulled headlight. Also, I was on empty with straight Sunoco GT Plus 104 unleaded race fuel.

Best run - 11.401 @ 124.2 (2.012 60' (bogged down to 3k rpm then hooked in every gear, 7.831 1/8 mile). BTW, I speed/power shifted (full throttle) every gear hitting 22 psi in 4th and bouning off rev limiter as I crossed the line.

Oh, and I did a approx 10 to 15 second burnout on nitto DRs to try and melt the tires b/c the previous run was a 12.125 @ 121.09 (2.186 60' with 8.095 1/8 mile) spinning violently through first 3 gears.

11.46 @ 120.5 at TX2K3.
1.77 60', 7.37 @ 97 1/8

RM DP, Borla exhaust, RSA Intake, HKS Type S FMIC, Blitz DSBC (16psi peak boost), BL Tranny, PI 3800, BFG 275 DRs, 100 octane/93 mix.

Practice and racing is limited to TX2K events due to reluctance to put a cage in my daily driver.
