my brake like MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) turns on intermittantly. The brake lights on the actual taillights stop working but the 3rd brake light bar still works. The tail light bulbs still light up when you turn the lights on. any ideas on how to fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated...

ya, that is 99% sure your problem.

How ironic? The light bulb failure sensor failing is what's causing your bulb's to fail?:wavey:

Yeah that is ironic haha.. also I'm surprised they didn't fix it from the Mk3 days. those MIL boxes used to crap out on them too. Oh well, at least they fixed our HG issues.
