I have noticed this lately, under partial throttle, low boost, I hear a kind of breathing in/out noise coming from the turbo/bov area, I wasn't sure if that was normal for a recirc'ed bov or not..I hear no compressor surge/flutter noise when I let off, and the breathing sound goes away if given more throttle or under WOT, just under moderate accel when it's just starting to build boost. My initial thought was maybe the bov spring needs adjusting? Sorry if it sounds like a noob querstion, just curious, though!

have you changed anything recently?
could be slight boost leak. try increasing the bov valve spring and see if it goes away.
