Should I get those for the front, with the 6.5 installed in the door and the tweeter up on the part between the winshield and the side window. (whats that called)

or

https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=10852
And install the 5.25 on the door, but near the top (practicaly infront of the vents, right below the tweeeter) pointing twards me.

or

forget about componants and get
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=11702
And install it in the door

or

https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=11701
And install it near the top again, facing me.

I may even go all out, and get a Dynaudio or Focal setup, but that is yet to be decided...

As for subs

Here it is though, I was wanting to build a total Pioneer setup, Pioneer componants infront, 6x9 3 ways in rear (all premeer), and pioneer subs.

2 of these
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=11508

or

a kicker setup, for booom boom

1 of these https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=11919
for straight booom booom boooom
and
1 of these
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/caraudio/product.asp?sku=11930
for cleaner bass

if you think any of this is stupid and have some better setups in mind, please tell

Note, budget is between 1k and 1.5k

Check out www.SoundDomain.com I have had great service from them, and so have others from what I have heard. They are running a special on Crystal Mobile Sound Separates for $120 for 6.5s, list is like $340. I have these in both my Supra and my daily driver, and unless you looking for a competition system, you'll be very pleased with them.

By looking around for deals on SoundDomain.com, and Crutchfield.com (look in the "speacials" section)(both very reputable). I was able to put a System in the Supra for about $700 including everything needed for the install, and did it myself without much trouble. I'm running:

Clarion Pro Audio CD Head Unit
Pheonix Gold 330 watt 4-channel Amp
Chrystal 6.5 Separates
Polk GNX 12" Sub
Pheonix Gold Wiring
3/4 MDF and carpet for box.

It's not a system that will you will hear for blocks, but it sounds very good, just as good or better than $3000-$4000 systems Ive had before, atleast sound quality wise.

The Sub is mounted in a home made .96 cu ft sealed enclosure set at the back of the hatch, I made straps to hold it down, and installed bannana plugs so it can be easily removed (hopefully not by theaves!) when Im auto-xing. And the spare tire still fits with it in.

BTW, 6.5s can be mounted right to the door panels. But you need to make large rings to mount behind the door panel do strengthen the area, and give the speakers something to mount to. DO NOT JUST FASTEN THE SPEAKERS RIGHT TO THE DOOR PANEL, it would not hold when the door is shut hard. I used 1/4 hardboard backed by 22 gauge? stainless steel, and sandwiched it all toghether with silicone sealant, seams to work great. Mounted the speaker on the outside of the door panel, and put the rings on the inside, then ran bolts through all of it to hold everything toghether. It's working very well. If you want, you may want to add some sound deadening to the mix to reduce resonation. Good luck.

Oh yeah, dont worry about trying to mount tweeters in the factory tweeter area, major pain in the ass! I mounted mine near the door speakers, and used the angle mount that came with the tweeter to position towards the listeners. And also, I mounted each crossover under the driver, and passenger side seat (where the factory amp used to be), and used 1/4 hard board to mount them.
