I bought a BL built auto from a forum member here about a year ago. It was lightly used and in good shape. I just now got around to installing it. It has a restalled factory converter to 2800 RPMS. Heres my problem. You can put it in Reverse or any of the gears (L, 2nd, Drive) and it will go in and out of gear constantly, for example, put the car into Drive, you feel the car sit down, couple seconds later it will sit back up, couple more seconds, sit back down, etc..on and on repeatedly. I have tried driving it as well and it does the same thing while driving. I have checked the fluid and its full, as well as checking the linkage numerous times and its correct and tight....Any ideas guys?

Specs:
93 NA-TT
JDM aristo motor
T67 single
custom harness done by father and I
BL built tt auto.

Could we have messed up in the wiring, or is something internal messed up?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Greg

Update: went and drove the car. Tranny works fine under throttle, stays in gear, L, 2nd, and Drive. Its just went you come to a stop, and have no throttle that It comes out of gear. Any ideas?

Just had this problem, however with the stock Aristo ECU the tranny worked fine. With the AEM EMS it would not shift gears, and it felt like it would just come out of gear like you are saying.

Unplug the Odometer, Jump the pink wire with the blue/red wire. On the connector they are right next to each-other. See if this helps...

If you have a AEM EMS, open the program while trying to figure out whats going on, the AEM PRO tells you Gear selection, status, OD on/off states and even in "MANU" is selected...

I sent Zohair an email, and he said "did u make sure the converter was all the way seated?". Now im thinking, the trans wouldnt work whatsoever if it wasnt seated correct? It has to be all the way seated to function.
