I need some help from those with more experience than I. I have a 90 7mgte. When i bought it about 2 years ago i had a toyota mechanic replace the valve stem seals but then it began to puff oil at start up again. I also have a rebuilt ct26 from driftmotion that I put in about a month and a half ago. Last week it began to burn oil at idle and take off which would leave a puff of smoke. I drove it straight home and parked it and did a compression test which i received a 140 in cylinder 1 and 2 and then 150 for 3,4,5,6. Would the valve stem seals have gone so bad to also burn oil at idle? Or should i move to trying to do the leak down test to check if the piston rings need to be replaced? I will be checking the turbo hopefully tomorrow. Thanks
