Sup soups, i've already checked past threads and didn't find what i was looking for. After my car warms up, it seems to miss slightly. And i've definately lost some boost pressure. I have an exhaust manifold leak near one of the first two cylinders and I know that carbon buildup on the valves could cause some drop in compression, causing it to miss and lose boost pressure. I guess my questions are, how does the leak cause the burnt valves? And if i really do have a burnt valve, is there any better route than tearing into the engine and replacing the valves?

I appreciate all info. thanks

A compression and leakdown test will reveal sealing issues very quickly. If you desire more information, you can also simply hook up a compressed air source to each cylinder and rotate the crank as required to close/open the valves. Listen for air exiting the exhaust/intake/crankcase breather and you will have your answer.
