Hey guys
i just threw in my spec clutch, and everytime i go to connect the battery, i hear a buzzing from the relay.
My electric fans also begin to spin slowly.
The gauge lights inside the car are also dim.
I took off the manifold, maybe i didn't ground something right.
anyone have any info?

Yea, check the grounds again. Especially the one by the intake runner, that its grounded there and no where else. At one time I had it grounded somewhere else and it was giving me the same problem that you have.

Good luck,
Ti

your fuel pump relay was buzzing as well?
when you started it did it idle for a bit and die?
because when i connect the battery, i hear the buzzing, and the guage cluster lights are lighting up even when the key is not in

also where is the ground suppose to be connected?
on the bolt connecting the uppear intake mani to the lower?
i think i put mine on the actual lower piece connecting to the head
anyone have any pics?

On the intake manifold between the upper and lower sections, there is a spot (2 places actually) where you bolt it down. These 2 short bolts, attached to the top end of the lower manifold section, don't hold anything else but the ground wires and the rear VSV valve.

Yep, at one time, I thought these ground wires were part of the starter wires -- doh! fuel pump relay buzzing and so forth.

Good luck,
Ti
