I've had my B&D short shifter for about 15K miles now.. and it started to buzz...

I'm not sure If it's from the spring for the reverse or the cylinder itself...
anyone else have this problem?? and have fixed it??

TIA..

Insang

Check the security of the snap in piece that covers the top w/ the B&M logo on it, that could be causing a hell of a rattle, past that, the inner workings will tend to rattle if not in the right place. I put some silicon seal in my top piece and it isn't permanently glued in just in case, but it doesn't move - you could try thtat.

Try taking the piece that covers the spring out. Mine buzzed all the time until I took it out
