It appears an unbiased non-magazine test of the C6 Z06 and the LS7 powerplant has taken place. I have come across the following information:

Track conditions were terrible, temperature in the upper 40s, 25mph head wind, and periods of rain.
Final result: 12.06 @ 123.9mph. At that trap, it's about a mid-11 second car. I have no doubt that they can get it up into the 124-127mph range with better track conditions.
