So in the past week or 2 I've noticed fumes in the cabin. After getting a few whiff's it smells a lot like gas. But where from? I thought it was from the charcoal canister - I completely took it out of the engine bay about a month ago to clean it up (the canister itself) as well as the hoses leading into/out of it. After that I put it all back together, with new clamps even and replaced some of the hoses.

What else could be causing these fumes? Where could they be coming from? Anyone had a similar situation other than deleting the canister?

i'm not sure from you post but did you reinstall the canister? i think its there to capture the gas that evaporates. check your fuel rail and each injector port area where the injectors feed into the head. the injector rubber washers may be leaking.

This, my #1 injector was pissing gas on my lower plenum and it smelled like gas inside the cabin

check your fuel lines by the tank. The feed and return go from metal tubing to rubber line for about a foot before going back into metal lines that run the length of the car. I just replaced those two lines as I had a small leak.
