Okay, one of the cables snapped inside the driver side door and now the window won't go down. Fortunately it is all the way up because its raining. I can't find a write up on this. I think the motor is okay. From what I could find out, I think I need to buy the regulator and cables or do the cables come with the regulator? Has anyone done this job? Please explain. Thanks

I saw a thread in the Elmhurst Toyota section.............you can get a new regulator without the motor for less than $70.00 and take your old motor and put it on the new regulator. I get the impression that the cables will come with the new regulator. Here is the link :)

Yep, he's right on the money. All you need is the WINDOW REGULATOR UNIT from Toyota. Comes with everything but the motor.

yep.....real easy fix too.....just be carefull with the window when you are doing it, you dont want it to slide down real fast andshatter...because then its time for a new window and those arent cheap..
