Does anyone know the caliper Torque specs for the front and back calipers on a TT. I need to know for the bolts that hold the caliper together, not the mounting bolts. I searched and looked in my repair manual and couldn't find it.

I just torque them bitches till I can't anymore with my hands. I think the tighter you torque it the better, so I just do it till I humanly can't anymore.

You are not supposed to disassemble the two caliper halves. That's why you won't find any torque specs. Here's hoping you didn't screw yourself.

I know, I did it on accident. I didn't split the calipers though. I took just two out of the four bolts out. So it is still together. So just fuckin' crank em down?

I forgot these cars no longer use calipers and rely on gravity and friction to slow to a stop making the info useless...
