I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble to install a cam gear (exhaust) with the stock cams and a T66? I've heard it can lower EGT's while making it spool a little quicker and give you a few more HP. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I thought you lost some bottom end in exchange for some top end, is this true?? I am wondering the same thing, I have a t-60 and I am thinking about cam gears :)

With the stock cam, you'll get a modest, 10 rwhp gain by retarding 4 degrees and a very slight loss in the lower end of the power band. Up to you.

I've got an exhaust cam gear retarded 4.5 degrees on my T66 car. But I had the same gear on the car before the T66, so I can't say whether there's loss of low end or not.
