The line with red dots on it...

It looks like it runs from the throttle body to the fuel rail. Is this just another vacuum source? Do I NEED it? My car is a '97. I noticed some cars have it removed and that it didn't come on JDM cars. If it isn't necessary do I just remove the line and plug both ends?

If I don't need that line then it is acting like a huge intake leak.

i have an FFIM with no IAC valve...I just have that port coming from the fuel rail venting under the hood...no problems here...im pretty sure its just another pollution vent

if i've done the coolant throttle bypass mod then there would be no need for this line anymore since coolant isn't running through the throttle body, right?

thats not a coolant line...the coolant one ur thinking of is under the TB, damn near impossible to see without tabing the TB off...but anyways, thats definately a pollution vent, as what kind I really dont kno...could be fuel fumes from the rail, or crank case vent...ive had mine venting to the atmosphere for some time now...nothing ever came out of it that I had to be concerned about

I wouldnt block it off, may build up pressure somewhere, just let it vent out
