I need to replace my boost pressure sensor for my GReddy 52mm boost guage. The sensor is in the engine bay and ran through the driver's firewall.

Instead of going through the hassle of trying to run the new one through the firewall, can I just T off the vacuum line that's connected to the back of my boost controller and install the boost pressure sensor there? Or would the line be too weak?

I just wanna save some time and headaches by not trying to squeeze this through the firewall.

Or better yet, can I just cut the wires at the sensor, cut the wires of the new sensor, and solder them together? The reason I need to replace them is because I broke off the nipple that the vacuum line connects to :/

Yes, I think some some instructions, or maybe it was just MKIV, tell you to.

Yes, I have mine that way.

Jason

OK good. It'll save me from having to run it through the firewall. I'll just wrap it up and create a T on the boost controller's vacuum line, thanks.

I didn't wanna make a whole thread about it, but no one with a turbo is online on my AIM list.
