Found this spring in the glovebox from my car. Can't tell if it's from one of the seats or unrelated to the car:

I dismantled a damaged Supra to the last screw and the only spring i remember looking similar with this is on the brake pedal

That's the tension spring for the seat adjustment. When you pull up on the bar under the seat it releases it to slide back and forth. That spring attaches above the rail and keeps tension on the seat pulling it to the forward position. Especially useful for rear seat passengers for ingress and egress.
