very interested. I've been checking all those other "carbon fiber threads" for someone to finally make this (if it is the real deal, meaning, not just a cf covering, but an actual light, strong, targa top)

the actual aluminum targa top isn't very heavy. I can weigh one today at the shop.

It's all the stuff inside that's heavy.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. For the targa to be strong enough, it should still require all the bracing that is in the normal targa. I assume it stands up to a good amount of stress, especially since everyone discusses how the car feels like a marshmellow with it off, it makes one think that it absorbs a lot of twist and force.
