Anyone out there gotten a C-West TRD Carbon Fiber Hood Knockoff to ACTUALLY
fit?
I got this thing and the gaps in it were 1/4" and not to my liking. What's more,
the hood was manufactured with latches that are too short so it wouldn't catch closed at the hood latches. You can see pictures of a failed attempt to fit this hood at the following addresses (NOTE: the hood is not latched closed in the pictures so the gap looks really bigger than it is.

I'm still looking for work-arounds instead of just
trashing it. Hood pins would work, but I am sorely against using them.
If anyone wants to take it off my hands. I'd be more than willing to sell.
six-and-some-change would do it...
And YES... We all know there is no substitute for OEM quality parts... I've
known this all along, but took a chance based on a gaurentee to be
recompensated.
Thanks,
Matt
