Preparing to pull the prop shaft and replace the carrier bearing...TSRM says to torque down the spindle nut to 137 lbs (to seat the bearing in place) then back off and tighten to 54lbs or so...I don't have a press and there won't be any
assistants available...any reason why I can not use the impact wrench to
carefully torque that bearing into place? Then use a regular torque wrench
to finish up...sure would make life easier...
