Hello all,
I have done a couple searches on the topic but cant find my exact answer. I saw the post about everyone having problems with brake dust.

I have a Grand Cherokee and the brake dust makes my chrome rims look like shit.
I am about to drop 2000 on some new rims for my Supra and was wondering about ceramic brake pads. I was thinking of buying some so I dont have any brake dust to ugly my rims every 2 days.

Does anyone have any info on ceramic pads (not rotors). I was just planning on getting some pads to replace the stock. Will they affect my braking or life of the brakes? Also how much should I look to spend?

Thanks
Jeff

here is what i know to be true....getting ceramic brake pads will completely eliminate brakedust. you will not see any perfomance gain or loss with these pads. there are like 1 or 2 companies that make them for the mkiv im not sure how many, and they cost i think about 180 for a whole set, thats front and back. one of the companies is called something like ichibahn or something similar to that name.
