Why is it that when I go to second gear or reverse I usually have to force it in. Sometimes it feels like it gets caught or something and sometimes it causes it to grind any ideas?

My 87 turbo does the same thing when going in to 2nd gear
But it only does it once and only if the trans is cold lol
I say bad synchros...
I did notice after I changed my trans fluid it was easier to get into 2nd

I have the sane problem with mine, downshifting to second it grinds alittle once and awhile, same with reverse
