You do realize mvpmotorsports sells the DME one for the same price.

*EDIT* Actually 4 dollars cheaper.

It's a bit of metal, as long as it fits, which it seems to, it's fine. One thing I noticed with these was that it was very difficult to keep clear of finger prints. In the end I decided to sell it and get one of the wrap around carbon ones that fits over the radiator supports.

I wouldn't.. There is a reason that Toyota didn't put some plastic there to duct the air. I'm guessing engine bay temp or maybe some preassue zone thing.
any reason you are saying that having an extra piece to direct air flow is bad? because factual data has proven to help with cooling by adding a plate to help direct air through the radiator and not above it.

Anyone bought one of these? Quite a bit less than all others out there...

Um yes they did. There is a plastic duct that runs from the top of the bumper mouth to the top of the rad support. I am stripping my 94 tt and the plastic piece is still there. When you go Front Mount you need to remove the plastic piece, therefore it is smart finding another way to direct air into the rad/front mount.

You can either remove the plate to fill the overflow bottle, which is a bit of a pain, or replace/relocate it. A lot of people were using Honda ones, because they are small, and mounting them in front of the battery. Painting the plate body color is an option too, I think it'd look good, but not many people do it.

With Josh's piece, you just have to remove the 2 bolts and it comes right off. No need to remove the weather strip and support which is really nice

Either way, these are a great item to put on the car for better cooling.

well thank you fellas! i actually just relocated my overflow bottle under the drivers side head light tray, it can be tricky to service, but it only takes a minute and enables me to have it out of the way. another things though, there is one horn under there that just needs to be unbolted, put UNDER the spot where is it attached, and throw the bolt back in, takes a sec.
