what is the most common check engine light for the turbo's? I was driving on the highway today and the check engine light popped on it still runs fine but what is the most likely cause? lmk thanx,

there really isnt a more common code. check to see what it is.

I dont have a scanner how to i check it? i think i might be SOL on that one huh?

Most mechanics do. You can ask one to check the code for you, if you know one. If you don't it might cost ya.

um, you can check the codes with a paper clip.
