Chevron is the only way to fly! Why, because I make a living working for them. Additionally, the refinery that I work as supplies a huge percentage of the fuel used for the eastern part of the country regardless of the name brand you purchase.

Additives are the only thing that makes a difference regardless of the brand purchased.

Help fund my ability to support my Supra addiction!

it's funny to note that 76 is a fully owned subsidiary of chevron.

sometimes i wonder if i'm buying the same gas from the two stations

Chevron and Exxon are the primary players. Unocal merged with Chevron late last year.

Like I said earlier it’s all about the additives.

Has everyone gone completely retarded? Different refineries, different octanes, different components, different owners in different parts of the country.

How about next we have a thread... Which color is faster red or black?

Chevron fuel contains techron, cleans injectors and suppose to be the best, and my dad owns one so I'm gonna go with Chevron, but part of it is I don't see many 76's in FL.

Yeah... That's the reason why I was filling up on 76 so I can mix gas to get 93 octane. Because here in CA we do not have 92 or 93.
