Hey everyone I'm having a really weird problem that just all of a sudden started happening one day. Whenever my supra is in park(its an automatic) and i step on the brake the shift lock releasing makes this click noise. I dont know why it started but its really really annoying. Anyone had this happen to them, I did a search but didnt come up with anything valid...

the click sound is normal. its the solenoid pulling out a stop pin for you to move it from park...

Yea, the shifter probly has a little pressure pusing it back now for some reason (maybe something got wedged in there?) so you probly hear the solenoid more. Push the shifter up a little (or back, depending) and see if it's quieter. If thats it take it apart and see what the deal is, may just need some cleaning or adjusting.
