Ball joints, tie rods, rack and pinion, rack and pinion grommets. I dunno just sayin'.

Its probably your steering stoppers being 20 years old or not there at all.

Look at your LCA I'll bet you have some fresh metal where the stopper hits
If your fully cranked and have some suspension travel then its will rub and clunk

this here. check it out. even if you have no confidence in this, do it first since its the easiest.

When you turn your steering wheel all the way to the right and left...steering stops possibly.
Have some turn the steering wheel while you look to pin point the clunk
Have a mechanic Check your ball joints (shake down front end) for play, for safety reasons though.
