hi i just bought a 97 six speed and it has a Southbend Kevlar TZ Clutch with new flywheel and it seems to hold just fine but it fells as if the clutch is not dis engaging all the way hard to get into first and have to shut off the car to get reverse also it engages about 1.5 inches off the floor. can this be adjusted?

Yes. There is an adjustment rod at the end of the clutch pedal. Loosen the locking nut and spin the rod pushing the pedal out more. Full engaugement should be 1-2 inches from being all the way out.

I had the sme clutch,had to get change it out.It will hole the power of a stock car or a small turbo.The engage point is about right.Loosen the locknut and turn the rod clockwise,don't go to far or it will screw out of the holder on the pedal.You should turn it about 2 turns and you should be able to get it in rev.
