Finally got a hold of my mechanic the other day and I asked him how the AT-MT swap was going on my 90T. He told me that he couldn't get the clutch and break pedals to fit because the box/plate they mount on was too short to fit them both.

How come I've never heard of this issue? I have access to a 89 MT non-turbo parts car. Will the mounting plate from this one solve my issue? Will there be any fitment issues?

Thanks

If that's the case, then why is my mechanic having this issue? Is this just a rare occurance? There's got to be someone out there whose had the same issue. I just can't believe my mechanic is that big of an idiot to not be able to get these pedals to bolt up. He straight out told me there is not enough room on the box they bolt to, to fit them all.
