i have a 1j with an r154 from a 7m i got an act 6puck with the stock 1j pressure plate.im going to be makeing sum serious power so i doubt the clutch will hold up.i know i can use a 7m clutch disc but can i use the pressure plate from a 7m or a 2jz or does it have to be 1j pressure plate. thank you.

ive been researching this recently....there a post by me about clutches you should read...alot of guys put in some good info....
clutches arent cheap.....
but any 7MGTE clutch set up should work with a 1jz gte flywheel...

thought clutches were rated in torque and not HP.

Any single plate clutch that can hold 600 hp won't be fun to drive as a street car.

I have the feramic 6 puck sprung from HPF. Supposed to hold about that much. I got a spot up in the Bx that does clutches. I think he has the same feramic pads plus others and can build the clutch for you cheaper than HPF... plus its closer! Hit me up and I can shoot you the info.
