Just put the car back together and I'm hunting down the final issue.

I'm not able to get the timing to stay put. When cold, I can fire the car and adjust the CPS so the timing is at 8* (cps set per TSRM). Problem is as soon as the car warms up the idle goes up and rechecking the timing shows 18* (off the scale). Can retard it back to 12 or so which is still too advanced. Not really loping or searching..

Was initially throwing code 51 which I thought I had resolved by having a new TPS installed and calibrated. Now the code erases as soon as you turn the car off, so I'm not 100% sure it's the issue.

Basic info on electronics:

1990; throttle body/TPS are 1989, engine harness is original but good shape
VPC/SAFC2; throttle voltage at idle is .585 (using HKS patch harness)
Checked, rechecked wiring, no issues visible, have ran setup previously with no issues.

Just cold started it this morning. No code 51 while the car is cold and running. Only after it heats up does it seem to 'lose' the signal and advance the timing.

Going back to the TSRM to look at temp sensor input maybe?
