Cold Atart Problems

I recently pulled off my RPS kit and inistalled my Greddy single kit. After a few days of being down I was finally ready to fire up my Supra (94TT). For some reason It took cranking it for over 20 seconds or so to make it fire up, however when its warmed up it starts right up on the 1st crank. My dad was having the identical problem with his 300zxTT, it turned out to be a clogged fuel filter on his car. Im going to try the fuel filter however is there anything else that this could be?
